Max reveals release date for Dune: Prophecy early?

Part Two” was a successful release for Warner Bros. Discovery earlier this year. A third “Dune” movie is planned, but the studio has more ideas to expand the series. Later in the year, they’ll debut “Dune: Prophecy,” a six-episode miniseries that takes place thousands of years before the familiar “Dune” story. Characters like Paul Atreides won’t be born for many generations yet. This prequel will introduce us to the formation of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood and characters such as Tula Harkonnen (Olivia Williams), Valya Harkonnen (Emily Watson) and Desmond Hard (Travis Fimmel). Recently, the Max Twitter account shared a sneak peek of Fimmel, known for his role in “Vikings,” as Desmond.

One release that recently got an exciting update is Hell of a Summer, the feature-length directorial debut of Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things. He co-wrote and co-directed this film with Billy Bryk.
