As a seasoned gamer with years of Honor of Kings (HoK) experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about the 2024 HoK Championship! With a staggering $1,000,000 USD prize pool and the top 16 global teams competing, it promises to be an unparalleled spectacle in the world of esports.
In October 2024, the prestigious HoK Championship will take place in Indonesia, attracting 16 international teams who are vying for a prize pool of one million US dollars.
2024’s first HoK Invitational Midseason tournament concluded at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, with the KPL Dream Team taking the championship title. During the event, Level Infinite unveiled details for their upcoming global HoK event, the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship, set to take place in Indonesia this October.
Top 16 teams to compete for $1,000,000 USD
After wrapping up the HoK Invitational Midseason 2024 in Riyadh, attention is now directed towards the 2024 HoK Championship, scheduled for October.

The HoK Global Invitational Series culminates at its championship event, showcasing the top 16 teams hailing from various regions such as Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Turkey, Brazil, Middle East & North Africa, America, Europe, and Pacific. They’ll be vying for a prize pool of $1 million USD.
As an enthusiast, I’m eagerly anticipating updates about the upcoming tournament. From what we gather so far, it seems the event will primarily feature players from the global server, with the China region reportedly not participating this time around.

HoK Promises more global events in the future
At the Esports World Cup’s Midseason 2024 tournament held in Riyadh, the HoK Invitational marked the beginning of a three-year collaboration. This partnership guarantees that HoK will remain involved in the event following its worldwide debut on June 2024.
“James Yang, senior director of Level Infinite Global Esports Center, remarked that the Midseason Invitational for Honor of Kings at the Esports World Cup was an exceptional demonstration of competitive Honor of Kings esports, as top teams worldwide displayed their skills at the largest esports event on record,” said James Yang.
He also added, “The Esports World Cup has been unlike anything we’ve ever seen from an esports event and we can’t wait to bring more Honor of Kings tournaments globally and great memories.”
