1000lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton reveals she’s ENGAGED just two months after going public with girlfriend Andrea Dalton
1000-lb Sisters actress, Tammy Slaton, announced her engagement to Andrea Dalton, a development that occurred merely two months following their decision to make their relationship public.
In a recent interview on the Creative Chaos podcast on Tuesday, Tammy, aged 38, who learned just last month that her sister Amy, also 37, is getting engaged, inadvertently shared this exciting news.
Tammy mentioned that she and her fiancee typically relax at home when they’re hanging out.
The surprising announcement left host Hunter Ezell speechless: “Wait, you mean your fiancee?” he exclaimed, followed by him displaying his guest’s dazzling new engagement ring on TV.
Apart from that, Tammy was wearing an ‘Andrea’ necklace with a smile of pride. Later on, she disclosed that she and her significant other had been in a relationship for roughly three years.

A few months have passed since Tammy, who’s shed an incredible 500 pounds, announced her romantic involvement with another woman.
Acknowledging her hesitation in telling her family due to potential reactions, the 38-year-old disclosed: “It turns out Amy isn’t the only one who has found someone new. I have too…
‘I have been seeing someone for the past couple months and it’s going pretty well.’
In my case, I mentioned that the individual I’m romantically involved with is a woman. Consequently, I haven’t shared this news with my family yet, as I anticipate they might express their opinions about it.
As a devoted follower, I believe that my family might have more diverse viewpoints than there are people in the world, given our proclivity for expressing our thoughts and ideas so freely.
During a 1000-Lb Sisters episode, when news was shared, Tammy’s mom expressed her approval for her daughter. She said, “If Andrea truly loves Tammy and brings joy to her life, then I too will be content with their relationship.
Tammy and Andrea, residents of Kentucky, connected through a dating platform and have been communicating daily since then.
2025 has turned out to be a joyful year for the Slatons so far, as Tammy’s sister, Amy, revealed her engagement to Brian Lovvorn only a few months back.

Amy discussed her fiance’s proposal in a recent episode, explaining that initially, he placed a Ring Pop shaped like a green apple on her finger while she was asleep, approximately two weeks into their romance.
Initially, I was taken aback, but upon further consideration, I agreed, provided the genuine offer was made within a haunted house on Halloween.
Five months into their relationship, Brian took the next step by proposing, kneeling down on one knee with a gothic-style engagement ring.
Amy remembered the proposal: ‘He expressed his feelings by saying, “My affection for you is insane, it’s frightening how well-matched we are.”‘
‘Just like our matching tattoos say, “scary love”.’
Two years have passed since my beloved brother-in-law, Caleb Willingham, tragically left us due to an unidentified reason at the age of 40. Now, I’m overjoyed to share that my sister Tammy has found new happiness, as she recently announced her engagement.
In a conversation after his demise, Tammy disclosed that she had lost her inclination towards romantic involvement with males.

Over the past few years, I’ve embraced my identity as a pansexual individual. However, since the unfortunate passing of Caleb, I find myself drawn exclusively towards women.
‘I don’t know how my family’s going to react when I tell them I’m seeing a woman.’
Last year Tammy opened up about the moment she found out that Caleb had passed away.
In a chat with People, Tammy shared that a friend of Caleb’s had texted her the unfortunate news about his health deterioration prior to personally informing her, only 20 minutes afterwards, that he had passed away.
In that moment, Tammy resided in her house in Kentucky, while Caleb stayed at the Ohio rehabilitation center where they had both been before.
‘I was sitting in the fetal position,’ she told the publication.
20 minutes after receiving a text from Caleb’s friend saying that he wasn’t well and they were attending to him, I got another message stating that Caleb had passed away.
The TLC celebrity mentioned that she was managing quite well in the aftermath of the loss, and had gone so far as to create a unique necklace shaped like a ring and musical note using her deceased spouse’s ashes.

She had grown attached to the jewelry and finds comfort knowing a piece of him remains with her.
‘He’s going to live on now forever because his memory is encapsulated,’ Tammy said.
‘Having him by my side makes each day more manageable. I catch myself frequently touching my necklace and clinging to it. Removing my jewelry feels strange, almost causing a sense of unease or anxiety, leading me to feel anxious.’
Whenever I find myself longing for Caleb, I take comfort in revisiting his show. It serves as a reminder of what brought me happiness, which I can relive all over again.
