From my vantage point afloat, I bore witness to this unfolding drama and felt compelled to investigate the peculiarities of the household and the intricate bond between Kiki and Simone, which seemed to be at the heart of this commotion.

Devon journeys from Buffalo to Port Haven Island, where Simone resides. Upon arrival, she encounters Kiki and witnesses odd, cult-like activities on the island. She’s definitely taken aback. Simone seems uninterested in spending time with her or returning to Buffalo together. Kiki propositions her with $10,000 in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement and moving on. Reluctantly, she decides to depart, and Jose, the hotel manager, escorts her to the island hotel where she stays until the following day’s ferry.

As she waited, she chose to meet someone at the hotel bar instead. The man falsely claimed to own a yacht. After spending the night with him, he gave her a sweatshirt for warmth. To her surprise, it was Simone’s sweatshirt. It later transpired that the man was Morgan, the captain of the boat belonging to Ethan, a character portrayed by Howerton. Morgan informed Devon that Ethan was his superior. Having previously encountered Ethan that day, Devon was pleased to have met Morgan, but remained troubled that her sister was involved with someone significantly older than herself.

This leaves Simone in a state of distress since she secretly heard Kiki and Peter discussing her relationship with Ethan earlier.
