02A studio, a dynamic interior design team based in Rome, has recently finished a restoration project located in the vibrant Conca D’Oro district. They’ve breathed new life into a 20th-century apartment by infusing it with the essence of the 1960s, creating a harmonious blend of past and present.

With terracotta flooring originating from the past running throughout, the entrance hall showcases a vintage geometric wallpaper design and two polygonal doorways adorned in red paint and embellished with reeded glass panels. This striking vestibule offers an engaging transition into the home, serving as the main conduit connecting various areas of the house.

The hallway boasts its original terracotta flooring, dating back to earlier times. The walls are adorned with a geometric retro wallpaper, while the doorways have a twin polygonal shape and are finished in red paint with reeded glass panels. This captivating vestibule welcomes visitors as they enter the residence and acts as the primary connection between different zones within the house.

The primary living area is flooded with abundant natural light through its wavy exterior, accentuated by uninterrupted curtain rails and pleated curtains. Sky blue walls and cozy wooden panels establish a tranquil base for vibrant furniture, contemporary artworks, and a premium home audio setup. From the dining spot to the bedrooms, integrated cabinetry provides practical storage and aesthetic harmony between white walls and glossy flooring.

02A studio didn’t skimp on the bathrooms; they used vibrant colored tiles, diverse terrazzos, and rounded shapes to create unique environments for the two suites. One bathroom features intricately designed cerulean tiles, soft red cabinets, spherical sconces, and oval, curved mirrors, giving it a distinct cool atmosphere. The other bathroom has a warmer vibe with red-orange subway tiles, striped yellow curtains, and a large shower encased in black tiles.
